The FBI on Sunday issued it’s strongest warning to date to military personnel and their families. The warning concerns a threat of terror attacks by ISIS against the US military inside the country at their homes. The FBI is advising current and former members of the military to review their social media accounts to avoid posts that might attract attention from the group calling itself the Islamic State and its supporters.
The FBI says it has information suggesting the Islamic State is looking for “like-minded” individuals in the United States who would be willing to carry out attacks. ISIS has been spotted in Ferguson recruiting members out of the protests going on there.
According to ABC World News, the report stated “The FBI recently received reporting indicating overseas are spotting and assessing like-minded individuals who are willing and capable of conducting attacks against current and former U.S. based members of the United States military.
If you live near military members please keep your eyes open and be ready to assist those that might be targets. The ones threatening such actions are fooling themselves if they think they can commit such acts and just walk away. Many Americans respect our military members and will come to their defense against any and all foes.
Please share this with all you know that have served and let’s help them stay safe.
