Today I have seen two different points of view concerning how the law enforcement community in Connecticut will enforce the controversial gun law.
At the end of December citizens stood in long lines to register their weapons the new law required. However, many thousands more have chosen not to comply with the new law. This has made many thousand law-abiding citizens felons according to the law.
How the State and local police communities react and enforce the law has become fodder for opinions and discussions across the internet the last couple of months. Today I found two widely differing opinions on Facebook. One has an officer that can’t wait for the order to break down a door and take the weapons away from these citizens. The other has state police officers refusing to enforce the law.
I hope the majority choose the latter option or things will get pretty messy in Connecticut and New York to follow. Here are the articles I saw this morning. Read each and let me know your thoughts on the situation.

Another thing to ponder is a letter sent by Mike Vanderboegh to all the state police officers last week. Read this letter to see how some of the gun owners feel. http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/an-open-letter-to-men-and-women-of.html
